R1 million
fish still roaming in the waters of the Loskopdam! - 11 May 09
Pretoria – In celebrating September as tourism month
and in conjunction with National Park week, Forever Resorts
slashed its accommodation prices at six of their properties
adjacent to the Kruger National Park.
Even though the tagged fish was never caught during the Jacaranda
94.2/RMFM & Solly’s Discount Catch A Million competition
at Forever Resorts Loskopdam on 9 May, a proud mister Juan
Byleveldt still drove away with a brand new Renault Cleo sponsored
by the BB group.
TEAM FOREVER DOES
IT AGAIN!! Our congratulations go to the following properties
on their excellent performance at this year’s Tourism
Indaba in Durban.
In the heart of the Garden Route, the magnificent Forever Resorts
near the mouth of the Keurbooms River has always been a welcome
hideaway. This popular retreat, 6km east of Plettenberg Bay,
offers an exhilarating mix of fun, adventure, peace and timeless
charm and it is an ideal base for trips to the Tsitsikamma
National Park, Knysna forests and the Cango Caves.

Milner se baadjie so goed soos groen-en-goud -18

asook by Ruby Cliff Horse Ranch. Daar is slegs 3 wit bobbejane
geidentifiseer in die omgewing. Dit is dus ‘n vreeslike rare
verskynsel.
Lord

THE fourth
Ulysses Garden Route Whale Rally was held in Plettenberg Bay
at the weekend, with more than 1 500 bikers roaring through the
town to raise funds for charity.
In 2005, when the first rally was held, 550 people
attended. That figure grew to 900 the following year
and 1100 in 2007.
Two bikers drove all the way from Zimbabwe to join the Whale Rally
this year. Frank Beale, a member of the organising committee for
the rally, said: The rally, the attendance numbers, the mass parade
along the Main Street of Plettenberg Bay by 700 bikes, the stalls
at Forever Resorts, everything has exceeded our expectations and
it has been a huge success. The Whale Rally raises funds for charity
and worthy causes. The R150 entrance per person is first used to
cover costs and any remaining money is pumped into local charities.
